Dennis is a Professor of Medicine and Cardiopulmonary Science, as well as the Assistant Dean at LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, LA. He has a diverse range of research interests and expertise in various areas, including asthma, trigger control, mechanical ventilation, cognitive science, and nutritional-related issues with a focus on obesity.
Throughout his career, Wissing has conducted extensive research on these topics, publishing numerous articles in academic journals and presenting at conferences worldwide. He is dedicated to advancing the field of medicine and improving patient outcomes by exploring the complex relationships between these areas of study.
Additionally, Wissing is highly regarded as an educator and mentor, training the next generation of healthcare professionals to approach patient care with a comprehensive and multidisciplinary perspective.
